Problem

While Fumeur is well known in the Las Vegas cannabis scene as both a high quality product and a market innovator, it had no online presence outside of a Wix website with a “Coming Soon” Message. (Pictured)

Solution

By utilizing the strong design standards already in place from the brand’s creative director, we were able to design a website that accomplished all of the client’s needs in a manner that’s user friendly, cost effective, and scalable for the future.


  • Built a flexible product CMS with high resolution photos, deep product descriptions, and the ability to highlight specific products for current marketing campaigns
  • Partnered with I Heart Jane to allow users to order Fumeur products directly from local Nevada based dispensaries right from our own website, while collecting useful user data in the process
  • Created a marketing campaign workflow that utilized QR codes and forms to collect user information during monthly promos with little cost to the client
  • Executed Google Analytics and UTM Campaigns via Jane to track marketing promo performance and conversions from sales in an easily parsable dataset that can be tracked for historical analysis

Results

The finished site showcases immediate results, giving the brand an elegant, responsive and scalable solution that is compliant with all Nevada regulations for a cannabis producer.


Version 2.0 is already in the works focusing on ways to increase SEO and a higher level of functionality across all devices. Other next steps include adding a ‘New Dispensary’ promo section below the current ‘Locations’ map adding a CMS based collection list. This will allow the client to upload assets themselves and have the Dispensary Promo cards be built out automatically on the page much like a blog post.


  • Finished site on time, on budget, with 100% uptime to date
  • Online sales are available for the first time in the brand’s history increasing overall revenue by 7% in the first 30 days
  • Engagement of promos have increased by 24% month-over-month with the new site launch
  • Client now has a permanent analytics dataset they can use to track what is working and what can be improved for day-to-day operations in a highly volatile and competitive market
